We have some exciting news: we’re launching a brand new version of the Tinyman AMM in January 2023! We’ve been working hard on this new implementation for the past six months, and we can’t wait for you to try it out.
First, we want to thank our community for your support and encouragement. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we’re so grateful to have you be a part of Tinyman’s journey. It’s been just over a year since the launch of our first smart contract, and it’s been a bumpy ride since then. But through the good times and the bad, we’re still here and building with a better understanding of our product, our users, and our environment.
One more thing — we want to give a special shoutout to Algorand and our VCs. They stood with us during a tough time and provided much-needed support in these volatile markets. We have been a part of the Algorand ecosystem for a long time, and we plan to continue doing so moving forward.
Looking ahead, we know that this year has been a crazy one for the crypto space in general. Therefore, we must focus on transparency and security to move this space forward, especially when building financial products. At Tinyman, we’ve always tried to be transparent and put our users first. We plan to continue doing so as we keep building.
One way we’re doing that is by making our contracts open source. We believe in the power of transparency and open collaboration. We want to make it easy for developers to build on top of Tinyman. To that end, we’ve also created a new language called TEALISH, which allows for better readability of our contracts and faster learning curves for developers who want to work with us.
It’s easy to feel like you’re behind in this market as a builder, but the key is to think long-term. That is how we like to approach this project moving forward. Some ideas are better executed with maturity than rushed. We’re focused on growing Tinyman and building a robust and sustainable foundation for the future.
So, what can you expect from the new Tinyman AMM? We’ve made many improvements and added some cool new features that you’ll love.
One of the most significant changes is that we’ve eliminated the need for redeems, which means you’ll have a much smoother and more straightforward experience when you use the AMM. We’ve also added some new features that make it easier to manage your liquidity, including adding and removing liquidity with just one asset. Most of these features are around creating an AMM that is more user-friendly for even newcomers.
In addition to these improvements, the new Tinyman AMM also has flash loans and flash swaps, giving you even more flexibility and options when trading and using your assets. We’ve also made the contract more transparent and open source and added extra safety checks to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Overall, we’re really excited about this new version of the Tinyman AMM, and we can’t wait for you to try it out. We hope it will help drive the growth and success of DeFi on Algorand, and we’re grateful to be a part of this fantastic community.
